Over four weeks, CIDS ran a structured discovery process: assessing three candidate methods against the available data, flagging the biggest risks to each, and costing out a realistic first phase rather than the full multi-year vision.

The output was a proposal document specific enough to submit to a funder, including a first milestone the team could deliver inside a single semester, which the group used to secure a small internal grant to get started.
