About this event
What happens on the day
This is the standard Data Carpentry curriculum, taught by certified instructors and pitched at people who write some code but have never been shown a workflow. No prior Python is assumed.
Day one covers the shell, project structure and version control. Day two moves to pandas, cleaning messy tabular data, and producing figures that can be regenerated from a script rather than rebuilt by hand.
Places are capped at twenty-four so every participant gets helper time. Workshops run twice a year and fill quickly.
